Interests
Music is something important for me. I listen and play lots of it, from all different styles : alternative, classical, blues, jazz, francophone, cuban, flamenco... I have been playing guitar since I was 14 years old. I own three of them, as well as a bass and a piano. I learned by myself and always dreamed of being part of a band. Life has decided otherwise for me...
There is also the outdoors, the Nature. I have done a lot of hiking, mainly in New England. Sea and whiteriver kayaking, canoe-camping, indoor, rock and ice climbing, mountain biking, backcountry and alpine skiing are some of my other experiences. I have played soccer during almost twelve years, on a irregular basis. I have also been coach during more than five years. For other sports, I like in-line skating, hockey and most of collective sports.
I had the opportunity to travel a lot these last years : Switzerland, Italy, Netherlands, Hawaii, Arizona, Colorado, Utah, Western Canada... I would really like to go to Australia, New Zealand, Kenya, Tanzania or Nepal for my next trips.
I have been dreaming of having a dog for a long time : a Siberian Husky or a black Labrador. If I decide to stay in Yellowknife for few years, it is sure that I will get one. Perhaps two. Anothing thing I want to have is a motorcycle : maybe next year, when I will get my tax refund!
Finally, photography, poetry, astronomy, geography, politics, history and the sea are all things I find interesting. Concerning the sea, I would probably have studied oceanography and marine mammals if I had not decided to become a pilot.
